The Bahamas 2017 Davis Cup Team will be travelling early tomorrow morning to Bolivia for the play-off Tie against Bolivia.  The winner will remain in Zone II and the loser will be relegated to Zone III.  The Tie will be held at Central Court Club, Santa Cruz, Bolivia.  The court surface is clay.    Davis Cup Committee Head Tim Dames and a few persons are expected to attend the Tie.  Last year, both Teams won the Tie in Zone III in Bolivia where they played in altitude conditions of 3500 m.a.s.l. in La Paz.  This time the altitude will be only 400 m.a.s.l., in Santa Cruz, which makes it more favourable for our team members this time around.

The Team is going in advance to get use to the courts.  The Tie begins April 7 - 9.  Again representing The Bahamas are:  Marvin Rolle (Player/Captain), Spencer Newman, Phillip Major and Justin Lunn.

Match Times are below:

Friday 7 April:         10:00 local (14:00 GMT)
Saturday 8 April:     12:00 local (16:00 GMT)
Sunday 9 April:       10:00 local (14:00 GMT)
