Nassau, Bahamas – The Bahamas’ mens national rugby
team took on the national team from Bermuda this Saturday at the Winton Rugby
Ground in Nassau. It was an epis battle
played between the two teams that had polar opposite game plans. Bermuda was methodical with lots of straight
running while The Bahamas was free flowing and innovative, always trying to
release their players with pace. The
lead changed throughout the game with a back and forth battle culminating with
The Bahamas being the eventual winners holding a 21-15 lead, through a concerted
attack in the final minutes by Bermuda.
The Bahamas will now go to The Turks and Caicos
Islands on April 18th to play their national team in hopes of
winning the North America Caribbean Rugby Association (NACRA) northern division.
