Bahamas with two great wins over Cuba and Jamaica in Jr. Fed Cup

And they are off to the consolation finals!

Yesterday playing Cuba the Junior Fed Cup team was victorious.

Gabrielle Simms defeat Reyes 6-3,6-2.

Peyton Anderson lost to Valdes 3-6,1-6. The duo won 6-0 , 7-6(6) over Cuba.

The Bahamas played Jamaica today for a chance to play in the consolation finals on Saturday. Gabrielle won 6-1,6-2. Peyton lost 5-7,2-6. In doubles Peyton and Gabrielle won convincingly over Jamaica 6-2, 6-1.

The Bahamas Lawn Tennis Association congratulates the team as they continue to play hard and represent us on the global tennis stage.


Bahamas will play to be crowned the winner of the consolation group tomorrow. We wish them well!.
