Calgary-raised snowboarder Wright has already amassed acclaim and a bronze medal at the World Cup for his half-pipe skills. Now based in Whistler, B.C. we’ll be on the lookout for the Bahamian-born athlete when he hits the snow at the 2010 Vancouver games as the first-ever winter Olympian to represent The Bahamas. Bahamian Olympic Snowboarder, Korath Wright is currently working to become the first-ever Winter Olympian for the Bahamas (Snowboarding – Halfpipe). Korath is half Canadian (his Mom is Canadian, Dad is Bahamian), so he is garnering interest in The Bahamas, Canada, and pretty much every other country he is competing in around the world...and this is just the beginning!

Korath will be competing in the second World Cup of the season in Saas Fee, Switzerland on October 30-31st.

A popular Canadian women's  magazine called, Chatelaine has recently listed Korath, along with other up and coming Canadian young men as, "Men You'll Love Next..."

Here is the link to view all top 16 Canadian young men that are causing a stir. Keep clicking as Korath is closer to the end:
