All around athlete, great academics, God-fearing and a gifted musician are a few of the attributes that Bahamian Michael Cooper possesses. Now Michael, a former BLTA Tennis Junior can add graduate to that list!

The Bahamas Lawn Tennis Association(BLTA) would like to send hearty
congratulations to Michael on obtaining a Bachelors Degree with 3 majors in 5 years!
Michael was also a part of Drake's Athletic team running the 800 metres.

We are happy for him and are extremely proud of his achievements.

Michael shared with us on his college journey "Listen! it feels so great to be done with University! It was a five year journey that definitely was not always a smooth one. It was filled with uncertainty, trying to adapt to cultural differences around me, and it challenged me in many areas of my mind, will & emotions. From the beginning, to the end, God was my all and all. I was most definitely not perfect, but there is no
doubt that the hands of my Heavenly Father was all over my journey, growing as a young man, away from my own country."

Mikey also shares with us on his graduation experience, "Finishing my Bachelor’s of Science, in Business & Public Administration, with 3 majors: Actuarial Science, Data Analytics & Information Systems. I had never dreamed that I would complete three majors in five years! I didn’t see the money to even add an additional year, but God provided for me when I could not even do so for myself! I overcame physical barriers, financial barriers, mental & emotional battles, being misunderstood, being rejected, being discouraged, and fought to hear God’s voice & purpose, in the midst of so many other voices screaming into my conscience. With all this being said, I praise God for the victory! I’m so glad I made it, I am so grateful. And my battles has only proved that I am lost, and that I am nothing without Jesus Christ who has breathed his life into me!"

The Blta wishes Mikey continued success. May God continue to guide and
order your steps!
