SwimSwam.com - Bahamian Olympian Elvis Burrows, consistently one of the funniest men in professional swimming, was slated to appear on a morning show in Louisville, Kentucky this morning to promote a “Go for the Gold” event he’s participating in with Lakeside Swim Team.

According to Burrows’ Twitter feed, the show joked with him about showing up for the interview in his Speedo – and Burrows took them up on the offer.

Check out the video below to see the reactions Burrows got, especially from co-hosts Rachel Platt and Terry Meiners. Burrows is hilariously laid-back about appearing on television in just a few square inches of fabric, a quirk swimmers and swammers everywhere will appreciate.

The “Go for the Gold” event brings Burrows and fellow Olympians Arianna Vanderpool-Wallace, Rachel Komisarz, Mark Gangloff and Margaret Hoelzer to speak to and coach local kids in an after school program.
