Moscow Russia – Football (soccer) enthusiasts from around the world have been glued to their screens as the FIFA World Cup action heats up in Russia. Heralded globally as the most prestigious association tournament in the world, the FIFA World Cup has, and continues to attract millions of viewers surpassing even the Olympic Games.

Ahead of this year’s games, a new partnership between Budweiser Beer and the Bahamian Brewery & Beverage Company, gave lucky Soccer fans here in The Bahamas the opportunity to receive the ‘trip of a lifetime’ to watch a FIFA World Cup game live in Otkritie Arena, in Russia.

Hundreds of entries came down to one lucky winner. Anthony Bullard, a native of Nassau was the lucky winner during a live drawing held at Jimmy’s Wines & Spirits, Cable Beach location.

“This has been an amazing experience so far” Bullard gushed from Russia on Tuesday night. “I never thought I’d be a winner and Bud has really taken great care of us.  I am having the time of my life and the game between Brazil and Serbia was EPIC”.

Last week Saturday, Bullard along with local sports enthusiast and commentator, Renaldo Dorsett, headed on the 18-hour journey across the globe.

Having made a name for himself as a talented sports commentator, Dorsett is one third of the team of young Bahamian sports enthusiasts dubbed the 10th year seniors; which boasts a following of more than 4 thousand on Instagram.  Dorsett helped chronicle not just the game, but the epic experiences for he and Bullard; all courtesy of Budweiser. “We encourage everyone to follow Anthony on his epic trip,” said Manuel Bartolo, Budweiser Marketing Manager for The Caribbean Islands.  “He joined scores of winners chosen from around the world to watch the world’s most watched sport LIVE.”
