Eleuthera Jr Baseball League of Rock Sound: Week 17 Results

IN SPANISH WELLS - the Eleuthera Junior Baseball League of Rock Sound continued play with week # 17 games in Spanish Wells to begin the first week-end of championship play .

In game #1- Coach Pitch Division - the Rock Sound Coco Plums finally won a game over the Spanish Wells Hook N' Jook by the score of 12 to 7. The game was well played with many spectacular defensive plays by both teams. This gives the Coco Plums  a one game lead in the best 2 out of 3 championship series. The Hook n' Jooks are the Pennant Winners.

In game #2 - Minor Division - Rock Sound Marlins and the Rock Sound Marlins played a very competitive game as both teams are evenly matched. However,the Spanish Wells Sluggers outlasted the Rock Sound Marlins by the score of 12 to 10 to take a one game lead in the championship series. Payden Newbold was the winning pitcher and Jonathon Hall got the lost. The Rock Sound Marlins are the Pennant Winners.

In game # 3- Junior Division - the Rock Sound Stingrays blasted the Spanish Wells Sluggers by the score of 8 to 0 in a rain shortened game. Rajeeve Armbrister and Isaiah Saunders blasted back to back homers for the Rock Sound Stingrays. Christopher Lloyd got the win and Dominic Pinder was tagged with the lost. The Rock Sound Stingrays are Pennant Winners.

Game two in the championship series continues this Saturday  at 11:00 am in Rock Sound.
