Eleuthera Tennis Tournament dubbed a success!

From The Tennis Beat In Eleuthera:

The first annual Coach Artie Johnson tennis tournament was a resounding success! The two day tournament featured senior and junior tennis players in The Bahamas.

Coach Artie Johnson thanked all those persons who were instrumental in rendering assistance towards the tournament inclusive of Ms. Darnette Weir, President of the Bahamas Lawn Tennis Association, Mr Tim Dames, Ms Kathy Coleman, Robert (Captain Bob) Griffin and French Leaves Resort.

The results of the tournament are as follows:
Men's singles =
Captain Bob d Mcarthur Rigby, walkover.
Men's doubles =
Chris Evans and Ahmad Thompson - Knowles d Mcarthur Rigby and Ossie
Rolle by walkover.
Ladies singles=
Aleida Jimenez d Betty Carey-Johnson 8-3.
Ladies doubles=
Betty Carey-Johnson and Aleida Jimenez d Marlene Henry and Katlyn Walker
8-4.
Mix doubles =
Mcarthur Rigby and Marlene Henry d Tim Dames and Michelle Walker 8-4.
Junior singles =
Rackai Symonette d Nathan Peltier-Jimenez 8-4.
Junior doubles =
Rackai Symonette and Nathan Peltier-Jimenez 8-4.

The Bahamas Lawn Tennis Association applauds Coach Johnson on this first annual tournament as he continues to propel tennis on the island of Eleuthera.
