Grand Bahama based body builder en route to Central American Championships

Freeport, Grand Bahama – Bernard Davis, a member of The Bahamas Bodybuilding & Fitness Federation will represent The Bahamas in the Central American Championships (CAC) being held in St. Marten slated for early October. Mr. Davis, deemed as Mr. Bahamas 2014 has received a donation from The Grand Bahama Port Authority, Limited (GBPA) to compete in the upcoming event.

Pleased to receive the contribution, Mr. Davis said, “I am appreciative of GBPA's sponsorship and support in my bodybuilding career.  I do consider body building as much like other sports, in that in order to be successful you must dedicate yourself 100% to your training, diet and mental approach."

Davis is a GBPA employee and has attained the title of the Super Heavy Weight category at the Nationals Championship held in Nassau in 2013.  He also continued his body building career by finishing second in the Super Heavy Weight Division at the (CAC) held in the Dominican Republic.

GBPA executives and staff wish Mr. Davis the best of luck in all of his future endeavors as he represents The Bahamas abroad.
