Grand Bahama's Joanna Evans takes bronze at Youth Olympic Games

CHINA - Grand Bahama's Joanna Evans made history by breaking a BAHAMIAN record in 800m freestyle and won a bronze medal at the Nanjing Youth Olympic Games on Day 3.

Joanna won gold at the 2013 Carifta Games, as well at the 2013
Central American and Caribbean Amateur Swimming Championships (CCCAN). She also set previous national records at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland this year, and in the World Junior Swimming Championships in Dubai in 2013.
