Nassau, Bahamas - Mr. Evon Wisdom, Senior Education Officer at the Ministry of Education visited The Bahamas Lawn Tennis Association(Blta) this past week. Mr Wisdom met with The President of the BLTA Ms. Darnette Weir, Mr. John Goede International Tennis Federation Development Officer for The Caribbean and other executives inclusive of head of junior development Mr. Perry Newton and junior tennis initiative Administrator and Assistant Secretary Mrs. Chilean Burrows at the National Tennis Centre.
During the meeting, growth opportunities for the sport of tennis was discussed along with the present and future development plans of the Association.
President Weir stated "The BLTA is appreciative of the time spent by Mr.Wisdom which provided for positive dialogue and the sharing of ideas relative to Tennis. We look forward to a meaningful collaboration."
