Ms. Rian Sands, Consumer Brands Manager at Lowe’s Wholesale commented that Neutrogena was proud to sponsor the Drive-Chip-Putt Championship held by 14 Clubs Golf Academy and The Bahamas Golf Federation.  She noted that the event was a success as the brand was able to give both golfers and spectators an experience geared toward raising the awareness of Neutrogena’s sun care line.  Sun Care items and promotional materials were dispersed throughout the 4-hour event by the Neutrogena Team and, the dialogues consisted of the importance and use of the items in the sport of Bahamian golf. Through personal interaction with the Neutrogena Team, it was evident there were quite a bit of persons unaware of the dire need to protect the skin from the sun’s UVA and UVB rays.  For some, their use of skin care items was present but inconsistent and for others there was no use at all.  The branding opportunity afforded to the Neutrogena brand was both exciting and invaluable.  We would like to wish Coach Georgette Rolle and the team a thank you for the partnership with the growing sport of golf in the Bahamas, and to all of the golfers a special congratulations on another completed championship event.
