President of The IAAF Arrives in The Bahamas

Nassau, Bahamas – Lamine Diack, the president of the International Association of Athletics Foundation, arrived in Nassau on Wednesday afternoon for the upcoming IAAF/ BTC World Relays.

Local Organizing Committee Chairman, Keith Parker and Chief Executive Officer and Vice Chairman, Mike Sands were at the Lynden Pindling International Airport (LPIA) to meet Diack when the President walked through the international gate.  This year marks the second time this event is being held in The Bahamas and it is being said that it will be simply “Bahamazing”.

The IAAF/BTC World Relays will take place on May 2nd and May 3rd at the Thomas A. Robinson National Stadium.
