The Bahamas Baseball Federation would like to thank the Local Organizing Committee President Donna Jones and her entire team and Little League Local District Representative Edward Claude and his team (Tournament Officials, Umpires, Scorers) for their support in hosting a successful Caribbean Little League Regional Tournament.

The tournament came to an end on Friday evening, and a fter a very disappointing loss to Puerto Rico on Thursday, Team Bahamas Area Team came out very flat and unfocused as they went down 8 - 0 to Curacao.

Team Bahamas Area did not get going until the bottom of the 3rd with two runs, but came up short 8 - 6 allowing Curacao to take home the Bronze Medal

In the Final Game of the Tournament:

Puerto Rico was in high spirit and very relaxed after the big win against Team Bahamas in the cross-over play-off and it showed with a dominate performance against the US Virgin Islands.  Puerto Rico 14 - US Virgin Islands 3 in 5 innings. Mercy rule shortened game
