Schedule for FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Qualifiers in Nassau, Bahamas

Nassau, Bahamas - The Bahamas plays host to the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Qualifier, marking the first time that a World Cup Qualifier will take place in the Caribbean. The Games begin at the Beach Soccer facility on East Bay Street on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at noon and continue thru Sunday, May 12, 2013.

Nations competing for the chance to represent CONCACAF in this year’s FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup in Papeete, Tahiti, include host nation the Bahamas and 2011 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup semifinalist El Salvador, as well as defending CONCACAF champion Mexico. Rounding out the field are debutants Guyana, Puerto Rico and Trinidad and Tobago, along with returnees Canada, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Jamaica, and the United States.

12:00- (F) Playoff 10th vs 11th place (loser~11th place)
1:15- (E) Playoff 8th vs 9th place (loser~10th place)
2:30- (D) Playoff 6th vs 7th place (loser~9th place)
3:45- SEMIFINALS 1
5:00- SEMIFINALS 2

May 12
1:15- Playoff vs Winner (7th & 8th place)
2:30- Playoff 5th (Bye Team) vs Winner (5th & 6th place)
3:45- Playoff 3rd place
5:00- FINAL

5th place from group stage receives bye 5th place playoff on Sunday May 12th.
