Produced by Kevin Turnquest of Vaudio Production and written and narrated by Patrice Francis of Problem Solved, the film documents the outstandingcontributions Over the Hill citizens have made to the social, educational and political development of New Providence and The Bahamas as a whole. From interviews focusing on Grants Town churches and straw market asues to others outlining the “tamarind switch discipline” and cultural innuendos of early to mid-20thassociated with Nassau’s inner city is a far cry from the clean, well-kept, tightly-. century Nassau, the film highlights the reality that the stigma now knit communities inhabited and developed by God-fearing, educated Bahamians of sound character.

“As a young Bahamian woman, I would like to thank you for reaching back and sharing with us such a rich treasury of a proud and God fearing people,” Vanni Evans remarked. “We need more!” DVDs of the film as well as the book that inspired it, are currently on sale.
