Nassau, Bahamas - The Nassau Renaissance Singers, under the direction of Mrs Audrey Dean - Wright held two performances at Government House Ballroom in Nassau.  Under the distinguished patronage of Their Excellences the Governor General Sir Arthur and Lady Foulkes, the choir presented “A Concert for Christmas” on December 11th and 12th.  At the conclusion of the concert the audience was invited to join the singers for wine and conversation.
 
Over the years, the Renaissance Singers have ushered in the traditional annual Christmas festivities for many in The Bahamas. The programme included classical and traditional Christmas music as well as music from around the region.
 
Proceeds from the Concert to benefit the Nassau Renaissance Singers Scholarship Fund.

Performing were:

Sopranos: Lavanda Brown, Velinciamae Dilette, Annette Dorsett, Verna Elcock, Francis Farmer, Maude Lockhart, Rose Richardson, Barbara Thompson, Nikita Thompson-Wells, and Kathryn Winterbottom.

Altos: Nikia Adderley, Patricia Bazard, Desiree Brown, Sarah Damah, Pauline Raymond-Blades, Noella Smith, and Shelley Shackleford.

Tenors: Luicito Bazard, William Delancy, Brent Kemp, Ashley Knowles, and Ricardo Knowles

Basses: Gregory Deane, Kermit Strachan, Michael Thompson, and Carlton Wright.

The group was Directed by Audrey Dean-Wright and Accompanist was Raymond Antonio with Kent Bazard on Drums.
