Nassau, New Providence - Sunshine Insurance (Agents & Brokers) Ltd. has partnered with the Bahamas International Film Festival (BIFF) for its 2017 Youth Film Workshop.

The insurance company recently donated $5,000 to sponsor several student films.

Sunshine Insurance Marketing Coordinator, Rogan Smith said her company continues to demonstrate its commitment to the country's youths.

"We take our role seriously, not just as an insurance company, but an organization committed to empowering our young Bahamian sons and daughters," said Smith.

"We remain committed to helping them get healthier through our Sunshine Insurance Race Weekend (SIRW) activities; educated through our Elmira Scholarship Competition and more involved in community through our sponsorship of Kiwanis and other organizations. We are very grateful to Leslie Vanderpool and the entire BIFF team for approaching us. We look forward to a very long, rewarding relationship."
