Cable Bahamas is proud to announce that REV Star Dana Ferguson has been chosen as a presenter for the 2nd Annual WideScreen Film and Music Video Festival. The awards will be held this Easter Sunday, at the Hollywood Central Performing Arts Center in Hollywood, FL.

The festival is the brainchild of Bahamian entrepreneur Jarrod A. Knowles and aims to inspire the creation and distribution of art, while ultimately enhancing the creative mind. With over 60 countries participating, including Ireland, Paris, Italy, Ghana, Trinidad, Finland and The Bahamas, presenters and recipients alike will find themselves immersed in a world of glamour, talent, and pure fashion.

Filmmakers and artists will compete in the categories of Feature Narrative, Short Narrative, South Florida Community, and Latin Community: Best Director, Best Feature, Best Cinematography, Best Screenplay, Best Music Video, and Best Actor-just to name a few. Bahamian actress and trained barrister, Dana Ferguson will announce the winner for REV Best Actress in a Short Film.

"We are very pleased to be a sponsor of this event and to see that one of our own was chosen to participate in such a world-class event," Cable Bahamas VP of Marketing David Burrows said. "The WideScreen Award Show promises to be an experience unlike any other and Dana will do an excellent job representing both this company and our country."

This year's award show will be hosted by nutritionist and TV personality Jenny Patrizia, and will feature performances by Bahamian artist, Dru-Bones and award-winning recording artist King Nyne. Other celebrities in attendance will be actress Anna Talakkottur, legendary award-winning director David Winters, actor Carluka Suarez and Grammy Award-winning artist Marlow Rosado.
