ESPN in Los Angeles invites the public to attend an exclusive screening of the Bahamian documentary 'The Trailblazer: The Mychal Thompson Story' at Regal Cinemas at LA Live in Los Angeles, California. There will be a Q&A Session with Mychal and special guests preceding the screening, hosted by Mark Willard. This well crafted documentary was directed by Bahamian Gina Rodgers-Sealy.

When Mychal “Sweet Bells” Thompson started playing organized basketball at the age of 16 in his native Bahamas, he never dreamed he would become the number one draft pick in the 1978 NBA draft. Thompson is forever remembered as the first non-American number one pick in the NBA and a two-time champion with the Los Angeles Lakers. This is his story.

If you wish to attend, please RSVP by November 15th. Names will be put on a guest list.
