Nassau, Bahamas - A number of local gospel artists will come together this coming Sunday November 1st 2105 beginning at 7:00PM for a mass gospel concert entitled “The Power of Love Benefit Concert”. The concert is being held as a fund raiser to assist Leroy & Setesa Burrows and their children.

Earlier this year Setesa Burrows was diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer. The news came as a blow to the mother of three (3) who works within the civil service. Then on Friday September 4th while visiting her doctor regarding her illness, the apartment she shared with her husband Leroy and their children burned, destroying everything they owned.

The family is in urgent need of help to assist Mrs. Burrows with her medical treatment and to assist the family in securing a place of their own to stay. At this time they are staying with family.  The family who are members of Bahamas Faith Ministries International reached out to Dr. Dave Burrows and the leadership of the church who immediately approved the use of the facilities to assist in the fund raising initiative. Leroy Burrows, an attendance officer at C.R.Walker then contacted Kevin “Minister K” Harris who is also a member of the church to assist with staging the event. His company Harris Media Group agreed to serve as the organizers and producers of the concert as their contribution.

A number of top local gospel artists have also agreed to donate their time and talent including Christian Massive, Shaback, Emily Williams, DJ Counsellor, Terrance Forbes, Shaniqua Thurston, Mr. J, Solo, Landlord, Minister Tracy Knowles, V-Mac and Sammi Starr. Several other artists are also confirmed to participate including Derek Adams, Leon Hepburn, The Adderley Brothers, The Bain Brothers and The C.R.Walker High School Choir.

Tickets for the concert are $10 each and can be purchased from Faith Life Book & Music Center (Diplomat Center), Logos Bookstore (Harbor Bay Shopping Plaza), 100% Bible Book & Gift Shop (Old Heastie Building on Robinson Road) and New Life Vegetation and Cell Food (East Street South).

A bank account has been established for interested persons who would like to make a donation. You can make a direct deposit at any RBC Branch to account number 7075849 in the name of Leroy Burrows but please indicate that the account is at the Palmdale Branch. If you would like to also purchase tickets directly from Leroy Burrows can reach him via his cell phone at 466-1779.
