23 year old Shon Millz, born in Nassau, Bahama as Owen Elliott began rapping at the age of eleven. He used his personal life as inspiration, as his mother and father separated when he was just a baby and while growing up he moved from home to home, and school to school, shifting between both parents. He watched how his mother struggled as a single parent, and he used music as a way to find personal happiness and bring meaning in his life. Millz graduated from Heritage Christian Academy as Head Boy, and also received the Principle's Award, all while building and crafting his music skills.

He released his first mixtape in 2008 after his graduation. That's where Millz met a fellow artist and his future group mate, Jayj HotBoy Major. The first single from the upcoming album, She No She Bad? successfully broke into the U.S. and is also gaining fans in other countries. The music video seen here is called Number One Fan.

Millz is catching the attention of a few A&R's. There is also some attention from some independent labels. Shon Millz is seen to have great talent and by those watching his growth also strongly believe that he will be an upcoming force in the music world.

Aside from singing, Owen Elliott is the CEO and found of Nspire. Creatively multi-talented, he is also a photographer, video producer and director.

Starting his business Nspire in 2009, he has worked with international celebrity artists such as Waka Flocka Flame, Ace Hood, and Black Dada.

Gratitude...

"I would like to thank a few people who stuck by me and had faith in me during hard times.  I would like to thank my mother, whose life was motivation for my drive. I am grateful to my music teammate JayJ Hotboy Major, as I would not be able to make music, the way i do now, without his creative help."

Coming up?

"I'm almost finished up my first album which should be done in the next few months if everything stays in line," said Elliott. The name of the album has not been released yet. Following the production of the album he plans to shoot his first industry music video, with hopes for airtime on MTV and BET.
