Kelly Clarkson, Lily Allen, Nick Lachey, Kristi AND Secondhand Serenade perform at Atlantis

Paradise Island, The Bahamas - The Atlantis Live series put out a stellar weekend of recording artists on stage at the Atlantis Theatre in The Bahamas.


Also performing Friday night was Secondhand Serenade. American vocalist and guitarist John Vesely put on quite a show.  Vesely who has released two studio albums (to date) under the name Secondhand Serenade ( Awake in 2007 and A Twist in My Story in 2008) introduced the audience to his hits.


On Saturday, February 14th it was headliner Kelly Clarkson on stage. Introducing Clarkson was  singer and actor Nick Lachey who  rose to fame in 90s as a member of boy band 98 Degrees . Newcomer Krista also performed at that concert.

Multi-platinum recording artist Kelly Clarkson made her Atlantis Live debut on Saturday (February 14th, 2009). Performing for a capacity crowd in the Grand Ballroom, Clarkson put on a sensational show, singing some of her hits including her new smokin’ hot single, “ My Life Would Suck Without You.”

Introducing feature artist Kelly Clarkson at last Saturday night’s concert was Nick Lachey . The singer and actor rose to fame in 90s as a member of boy band 98 Degrees. He starred in the hit reality television series Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica with his then-wife, Jessica Simpson.

Performing February 13th  was Secondhand Serenade. American vocalist and guitarist John Vesely put on quite a show to compliment up and comer Lily Allen during the Friday night concert.

Lily Allen's single “ Smile” reached number one on the UK Singles Chart in July 2006. In December 2006, her debut album “ Alright, Still” was voted the third best album of the year by Mixmag.   In 2007, it was nominated for the award of Best British Album at the BRIT Awards and for Best New Artist at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards. The album was nominated for a 2008 Grammy Award in the category of "Best Alternative Music Album". Alright, Still” has sold over 3,300,000 copies worldwide.

 

Her second album entitled “ It's Not Me, It's You” was released in the UK on 9 February 2009 and the United States on 10 February 2009.

Newcomer Krista also performed during Atlantis Live on Saturday night with Clarkson. The songstress is on the same record label as Kelly Clarkson. She introduced the audience to some of her chart-climbing tunes including; Temporary Insanity.
