The Bahamas is not only the place to find sun, sand, and sea but it also where Galen Godet a.k.a Reddah has been honing his skills as a musical artist. Reddahs rapid fire delivery entertains and educates his audience.   While he doesn’t get caught up in gangsta rap, he writes and performs about the perils that he and others have come across and that life is all about choices.

While the Bahamas does not boast a huge hip hop scene, Reddah still pays homage to Tupac, Biggie, Run DMC as well as some of the other innovators in the culture . Reddah’s style crosses over from Hip Hop to R&B to Reggae with such ease it has afforded him opportunities to further work with others in the industry on an international basis.

Not only has Reddah notched his abilities through local appearances at various events, but his demo CD got into the hands of a movie director who assisted in furthering Reddahs dreams of being taken to California and working with the legendary Patrice Rushen, creating his first music video, recording with Mateo Laborial (Jamie Foxx’s album Unpredictable), attending the 2006 Grammy’s and meeting many industry professionals.

While there he recorded both his demo CDs and music video.   Reddah was the first artist to have his video recorded using the Genesis Digital Camera which has been used in some of the latest movies. The music video “True Sides’ was seen by the local TV station ZNS, and promptly called Reddah for an interview that was aired September 14th 2007.

Currently Reddah is having his video aired on TEMPO an affiliate of MTV.

Reddah can be contacted through his agent at: 242-442-3765 or email  oaporter@hotmail.com
