Bahamas Junkanoo Carnival has extended their Music Masters song competition deadline.  A notice on their Facebook page stated:

"Create your song and help the world journey through a fusion of contemporary Bahamian music; vibe with the artists who have the hottest hits of the year; and find out which Bahamian artist will be crowned a Music Master.

The Music Masters Song competition has boosted the development of Bahamian music. In just two short years some of the country’s best artists have produced 250 new and original songs.

The competition is an opportunity for Bahamian song writers to showcase their talent, and vie for the chance to meet and negotiate with executives from Sony Music as well as many other International platforms.

Many of the top songs from the Music Masters Song Competition are played through media channels, as well as at promotional events such as ROAD FEVER on the big trucks alongside the year’s hottest Soca, Rake n Scrape, and other sweet Bahamian music.

In in excess of $50,000.

Deadline for Submissions are Nov. 18th. @12am
