Bahamian filmmaker, Travolta Cooper, the writer and director of The  Black Moses, is about to begin production on "Myles" a documentary feature about the life and times of Dr. Myles Munroe,  a Bahamian evangelist and ordained Pentecostal minister who founded and led the Bahamas Faith Ministries International and Myles Munroe International. Munroe died with his wife and 8 others in a private plane crash on November 9th, 2014.

The film's shoot locations will span the Bahamas, the Caribbean, and six continents. "His impact was epic, and many people still don't know this, and so we're interested in chronicling that story," said Cooper. "He was the world's most famous Bahamian. He  was arguably the most influential and global statesman that our nation has ever produced. Here's a man who never served in government, but was given a state funeral."

"Munroe transcended religion and transcended politics and time will see him in as a national father and icon. With his story you essentially see a government within a government in our country. Much like an Martin Luther King was within the United States."

"I interviewed Dr. Munroe for my last documentary The Black Moses. Of course I had no idea at the time that he would be the subject of my next documentary film. His story, in many ways, feels like a sequel to the The Black Moses."

Cooper just released this video featuring a powerul message from Myles Munroe. The interview was done during the filming of  The Black Moses.

Myles Munroe was known for impacting the lives of those he came into contact with. He was a father, pastor, preacher, author and motivational speaker who traveled round the world pulling a crowds of around 500,000 people annually including  governments leaders, business men and women, students and church congregations in the past forty years. Munroe also served as a business consultant to Fortune 500 companies and corporations.

Production of "Myles" is scheduled to begin in April 2016 in Africa.

Travolta Cooper has several other projects on the go. He's gearing up to attend and cover Cannes International Film Festival. His first narrative feature film, "Atlantis" goes into production this fall, and his popular film review show, The Cinemas, will be starting its next season in April. Travolta is host of The Cinemas and the series is dedicated to documenting and fueling the rise of Caribbean Cinema. It can be seen online and on Bahamian television.

Travolta Cooper is a Caribbean filmmaker who resides between The Bahamas and the United States. In addition to working in television on several projects, he's produced two feature length documentary films (that are now available on DVD) Founding Fathers: Sir Stafford Sands and The Black Moses.
