Freeport, Grand Bahama Island - Naturally 7 fans and patrons of Shenanigan's Irish Pub in Port Lucaya got an extra special treat last night (April 30th, 2010) as world renown recording artists Naturally 7 stopped in to do a meet greet autograph signing session and surprise impromptu live performance.

The Bahamas Weekly News Team was on hand to capture this captivating once in a lifetime moment on video.
We present herewith a short excerpt for your amazement. Shenanigan’s Irish Pub proprietor Jeffrey Butler, was ecstatic to host Naturally 7 at his packed popular restaurant and bar and remarked that Grand Bahama Island needs a lot more entertainment like this as he praised The Grand Bahama Performing Arts Society and sponsors for making it all possible.

Naturally 7 is an American male music group a Capella style (voice only - no instruments) they call "Vocal Play" ( each of them used their voices in unison to recreate a different musical instrument from drums to brass instruments to guitars) . They sing primarily R & B with extensive beat boxing (vocal percussion) . Naturally 7 band members are Roger Thomas (musical director, arranger, 1st Baritone, Rap), Warren Thomas (percussion, guitar, clarinet, 3rd tenor) Rod Eldridge (1st tenor, scratching, trumpet), Jamal Reed (4th Tenor, electric guitar), Dwight Stewart (2nd baritone), Garfield Buckley (2nd Tenor, Harnica) and “Hops” Hutton (Bass).

Listen to an Audio Interview with the group's leader, Roger Thomas.

"The Performing Arts Society is absolutely thrilled to be able to bring such a unique, exciting and talented group of performers to Grand Bahama," said Dalia Feldman, Founder of the Society.

"The Naturally 7 concert and workshop have been in the works for over a year, after a video of a live performance of theirs was emailed to me by a committee member. At that time, N7 was a huge hit in Europe, but had just started to gain recognition in North America. Now, after a tour of the US and Canada, and performances in Vancouver at the Winter Olympics, they are in the midst a world tour with Michael Buble. What a thrill it will be to have them here on Grand Bahama! "

Naturally 7 has performed in Europe, the U.K., Canada, Australia and the U.S . TV performances on such shows as the Today Show, and the Tonight Show in America, and the Royal Variety Television show in London in front of His Royal Highness Prince Charles.

The band has now recorded four albums –  ‘Wall Of Sound’, “Non Fiction” , “What Is It” , “Christmas …It’s A Love Story”,  “Ready II Fly”, and in March 2010 they will release their new CD entitled 'Vocal Play'.

What makes Naturally 7 special, is that every instrument sound that they sing is created from the human voice. There are no actual drums, guitars, horns, flutes, or any other instrument that is heard when listening to them perform; it’s the band members playing each of their vocal instruments.

With their rich harmonies, an unbelievable ability to replicate instruments and a stage presence that can be felt in every seat of the house, Naturally 7, the first 'vocal play' group ever, are amazing, charming fans where ever they perform.

Mark your calendars now as you don't want to miss this wonderful entertainment experience suitable for all ages. Venue and ticket outlets, as well as full details on how to be a part of the mentor workshop will be announced shortly.
