Linebacker Akin Ayodele will lead
a group of Miami Dolphins to Nassau as they attend the Shirley
of Hollywood 60th Anniversay Model Search Finale and Show at
the Sheraton Nassau Beach Resort Ballroom on September 27 at
4:00 PM. Dolphins including Nate Jones, Brandon Fields and Anthony
Fasano will join Playmates Tyran Richards and Shallan Meiers and
24 beautiful models. The pro athletes will also attended the
Volleyball benefit on Sunday at Nygard Cay as the models team up with the
Bahamian National Team in Volleyball Tournament.
'I am looking forward to a week off at the Sheraton in the Bahamas,' said
Ayodele. 'I am looking forward to some sun and fun on the beach. I am
also looking forward to supporting the efforts of Peter Nygard of putting the
Bahamian Team on the map. I love a good cause.'
Ayodele was named NFL Extra
Effort Award winner and the Blue Cross/Blue Shield Community Champion
of the Year, where $2,500 was donated to the Muscular Dystrophy Association on
his behalf. He makes regular visits to Wolfson Children's Hospital and local elementary
and middle schools, and actively supports Foundation's Playbooks. He also
supports the charitable efforts of his teammates.
Akinola is an African word that means 'a warrior who has gone through many wars
and has never been defeated' ... Name pronounced: AY-kin AY-dell ... Full name:
Akinola James Ayodele.
Also attending with Ayodele is Brandon Fields, Nathan Jones, and Anthony Fasano.
