Paradise Island, The Bahamas - It was all glamor, glitz, and black tie as people arrived at the Atlantis on the red carpet for the Bahamas' premiere of American actor, director, screenwriter, and producer, Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Married Too? on March 29th, 2010.

Hundreds of Atlantis guests lined the entrance of Coral Towers, and the corridors to the theater hoping to get a glimpse and photo of a star.
Perry was greeted with thunderous applause as he took the stage prior to the screening.  He thanked the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism and its film commissioner, Craig Woods and also thanked the 50 Bahamians who worked on the film.

The Bahamas Weekly News Team was on hand to capture a few interviews at the event. In this video you will hear from Actor,
Michael Jai White (Marcus), Bahamas Film Commissioner Craig Woods, Leslie Vanderpool, Founder of The Bahamas International Film Festival, Mr. Ian Rolle, President of The Grand Bahama Port Authority and his wife and visiting tourists who were just outside of the Atlantis Theater around the red carpet.

Why Did I Get Married Too?  carries a similar plot line to the first movie, that is that the couples, all friends, go on their annual vacation to re-affirm their marriages, this time in The Bahamas, and this time with a new set of marriage challenges.  The film was shot on location in Eleuthera and highlights the beauty of The Bahamas as an ultimate holiday destination.

US Ambassador to The Bahamas, Her Excellency, Nicole Avant attended and graciously assisted after the screening with announcing lucky seats and prize winners.  Actors from the film who were in attendance besides Perry himself were Michael Jai White (Marcus) and Sharon Leal (Dianne) who played Perry's wife.  And David Tamela Mamm from Meet the Browns along with Reuben Cannon, producer of Meet the Browns were at the screening Magic Johnson and his wife Cookie were also in the audience.
