WideScreen Film and Music Video Festival to Host Awards Show Aboard 125' Yacht

Miami, FL. --  The highly anticipated 3-day event, WIDESCREEN FILM & MUSIC VIDEO FESTIVAL (WSF) returns to Miami to celebrate their 3rd consecutive year in recognizing and awarding the craftsmanship and accomplishments of talented artists and filmmakers from over 75 countries. The festival commences Friday, February 17, concluding aboard the 125' South Beach Lady Yacht, on Sunday, February 19, 2017 at Bayside Marina.

Every season Widescreen Festival receives over 669 film submissions from 75+ countries across the globe. Featured on NBC 6, WSF has been honored as the #1 Best-Reviewed festival globally out of 4,850+ on FilmFreeway, based on direct attendee reviews. With gold plated awards given in 30 categories, including Best Director, Best Feature, Best Music Video, and so forth; WSF has established itself as a distinguished outlet to support, inspire, and promote the innovations of filmmakers and artists alike. Furthermore, the event attracts participating filmmakers from countries such as United Kingdom, Italy, Australia, Czech Republic, and The Bahamas. WSF continues to faithfully serve the global community in the fulfillment of its mission: "to inspire the creation and distribution of Art, while ultimately enhancing the creative mind.”

Festivities kick off on Friday, February 17 at the Sawgrass Grand Hotel with a complimentary meet & greet and educational workshop presented by one of the longest running independent film sales and production companies in Beverly Hills, Shoreline Entertainment.

The following day, on Saturday February 18 at AMC 24 Aventura, the vast showcase of 130 renowned projects will be delivered to a diverse audience, consisting of South Florida locals, tourists, and international guests.

The event concludes on Sunday, February 19 with the Widescreen Award Show aboard the luxurious 125' South Beach Lady Yacht. It departs from Bayside Marina at 8:20pm sharp. The Oscar-styled ceremony will be awarding top-rated filmmakers for their achievements. During the three day event prominent figures of the film, and entertainment industry will be present.
