Young Bahamian talent to entertain at Manhunt Bahamas

Tebby Burrows and Shaquille Farrington will perform at Manhunt Bahamas on October 12th at Superclub Breezes. Pre-show starts promptly at 8pm.

The premier competition for male models in the Bahamas will host its third edition on October 12, 2014 with a pre-show starting promptly at 8pm in the ballroom at Superclubs Breezes in Nassau. You will not just DISCOVER the men competing for the titles of Manhunt Bahamas and Jr. Manhunt Model, but you will also get to DISCOVER upcoming young, talented Bahamian entertainers. The organizers have planned a great pre-show talent showcase featuring Tebby Burrows and
Shaquille Farrington.

Bahamas born 21 year old Shaquille Farrington a.k.a "Shaton" has always been a creative fun spirit. Now he brings out the best of his singing and writing skills and is presenting it to the world. With a smooth blend of World Music, Pop, and R&B he's ready to take the world by storm. Become apart of an army of free spirits and hear what Shaton has to say as he sings not only to your ears but to your soul, heart and mind. PEACE, LOVE, PLANET, all through MUSIC.

He says he has a big plan to take his message to the world through music. He says, “As a lyricist story telling is important through the music and if I'm not telling my story then my purpose isn't being fulfilled. I am currently working on my album which is slated for release very soon”.

As Aaliyah once sang, “Age ain’t nothing but a number.”This up-and-coming female artists might be young, but she is already making waves in the Bahamian music scene. Tebby Burrows is a 24 year old musician. She is a performer you just have to see to appreciate how talented Bahamians can be. We are becoming the world’s best kept secret in the entertainment, just waiting for that big break.

MUSIC INSPIRATIONS of both entertainers comes from inspiration in a mixture of genres, from country to blues; the heroes of their generation don't get as much credit as they deserve A regular person would look to old artists for inspiration, but as a new age artist we know the direction of music constantly changes so my inspiration changes very often. Music Inspires to write music.

ARTIST INSPIRATIONS come from talents such as Janelle Monet, Michael Jackson, Chrisette Michele, Rihanna, Ne-Yo, Luke James, Janelle Monae, Solange, VV Brown, Frank Ocean and by musicians like who aren't afraid to do something different.

The Manhunt Bahamas competition will become the benchmark for style and launching the model career of possible title holders and participants through networking.

Manhunt International Bahamas selects a Bahamian male top model each year to compete in Manhunt International, the longest running international competition for male models, organised to promote new faces in the fashion industry. Contestants are judged on catwalk and runway skills; photogenic ability; physical attributes; and personality.
