WEATHER BY PHONE FOR TONIGHT AND TOMORROW THURSDAY 20TH FEBRUARY, 2020.

WARNINGS: IN THE EXTREME NORTHWEST BAHAMAS, SMALL CRAFT OPERATORS SHOULD SEEK SAFE HARBOUR TONIGHT. MOTORIST AND PEDESTRIANS SHOULD EXERCISE EXTREME CAUTION ALONG SEA WALLS AND COASTAL ROADS ESPECIALLY THE FISHING HOLE ROAD. SWIMMERS AND BEACHGOERS SHOULD REFRAIN FROM ENTERING THE WATER DUE TO ROUGH SURF AND RIP CURRENTS

GENERAL SITUATION:   HIGH PRESSURE CONTINUES TO WEAKEN ACROSS THE BAHAMAS TONIGHT. A FAST MOVING COLD FRONT AND IT ACCOMPANYING PRE-FRONTAL TROUGH WILL GENERATE STRONG WINDS AND BUILD SEAS IN THE EXTREME NORTHWEST BAHAMAS EARLY TOMORROW MORNING.

WEATHER: PARTLY CLOUDY AND MILD WITH AN ISOLATED SHOWER TONIGHT, BECOMING PARTLY CLOUDY TO CLOUDY AND BREEZY WITH SCATTERED SHOWERS TOMORROW
 
ADVISORY: SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY COMES INTO AFFECT TOMORROW.

WINDS: SOUTH TO SOUTHWEST AT 10 TO 15 KNOTS TONIGHT BECOMING WEST TO NORTHWEST AT 15 TO 20 KNOTS TOMORROW.

SEAS:   2 TO 4 FEET TONIGHT, BUILDING 8 TO 10 FEET IN LARGE NORTH AND EASTERLY SWELLS.
