Last year Chinese tourists spent more than $100 billion on international travel, making it the world's largest tourism source market in terms of spending. New trends suggest that Hawaii remains the Bahamas competition in Chinese outbound tourism, because of its historical events with Pearl Habor . New trends also suggest that Asian travelers would like to experience far away island destinations making the Bahamas an appealing choice of travel. Non existing direct flight remains a challenge in our mission to expand the Bahamas tourism market, our data concludes that: direct flights are important in reducing the amount time lost from vacationing time.
