well researched, and gave us a clear walk through our past, present and future
as a movement. The speeches gave the NCTUB food for thought and insight as to
how young people in our society view trade unions. These insights will help the
NCTUB to plan, strategize and put into action plans to attract young people to
the trade union movement.
The National Congress of
Trade Unions Bahamas will make this speech competition an annual event. This
event and all subsequent events leading up to Labour Day, Friday, June 5, 2015,
are being organized by the Labour Day Planning Committee which is chaired by
Brother Roney Armbrister, Trustee of the NCTUB.
