Grammy Award Winning American record producer and DJ, Streetrunner and singer/songwriter/producer Ryan Toby will be guest speakers at MuMo.

Nassau, Bahamas - Get ready for MuMo! The inaugural Music Momentum Summit happening this Friday and Saturday promises to be an exciting showcase of speakers, panels, workshops, special guests and a concert at the National Art Gallery of the Bahamas featuring MuMo brainchild, TaDa along with AdELA, RAPP Quelle, Melanique, and dance team Juice Unit.

The inspirational music community have Fam Fest and The Caribbean Gospel Music Marlin Awards.  Now the new mainstream music community (including artists like Alex Christie, Sammi Starr, Bodine "Be" Johnson, Sosaman, Jah Hem and others), have a forum in the first annual Music Momentum Summit on October 1st and 2nd at the British Colonial Hilton.

Terneille 'TaDa' Burrows shares her excitement about the upcoming event, "I want for the Bahamas to recognize and embrace the rich culture, talent and heritage the new talent has to offer.  I want Bahamians to celebrate Bahamians doing good things and making progress, regardless of the music genre. In 2010, on the 100th birthday of Joseph Spence, MuMo is here to aid in setting a foundation of excellence in music education and interaction, with hopes that in another 10 years, more Bahamian artists/producers will bring attention to our country through international success and acclaim."

Founder of MuMo, Terneille 'TaDa' Burrows will be performing in concert on Friday, October 1st at the NAGB along with RAPP Quelle, Melanique, and AdELA.

"MuMo Music Momentum Summit is a resource I wish I had to my avail 12 years ago when I first entered the still fledgling Bahamian music industry. Even back before I started seriously in 1998, BFM and Pastor Dave Burrows youth group allowed a number of up and coming young talented singers, rappers, and reggae artists a forum called Christian Youth Talent Jam. Before those days, mainstream music genres were unheard of in the gospel circles.  Now, local hit contemporary inspirational artists like Christian Massive, Landlord, DJ Counsellor, are now a mainstay among Bahamian youth,"says Burrows.

"Considering the state of youth  in the Bahamas and with the prevalence of crime, we must realize how much music can be a strong force in deterring such negative activities. Christian Massive has been going strong for over 15 years, but were once on the streets and gang-banging before they realized their talent and more importantly, their purpose. Landlord grew up poor with an unstable family life and went on to become the TEMPO superstar we see today," she continues.

"The show of support MuMo has received on an international level has been astounding! The Harris Institute scholarship Audio Production or Artist Management scholarship is being offered through the Canada institution. Renown international panelists and speakers appearing at MuMo are lending their time and support.

The concert on Friday at the National Art  Gallery is not to be missed and will headline TaDa. Tickets for all events are available at The Jukebox.

Juice Unit, one of the Top Bahamas Dance crews will also be an entertainment highlight at the concert! Guaranteed to impress with their slick synchronized moves and isolations. Watching Juice Unit perform is luke stepping through the TV set into the audience at America's Best Dance Crew!

Melanique is a sassy up & coming Pop/R&B recording artist with a sound and style all her own. She surprised viewers with the release of her debut music video 'I won't leave', and is braced to be the first tween cross-over sensation from the Bahamas.
