Rik Carey
The
son of a respected guitarist and a popular singer, Carey came to music
early in life. He established a career in the Bahamas as a drummer for
some local bands and a producer for local studios, working with young
and upcoming talent. In 2000 he achieved the position of lead vocalist
for the Baha Men, and developed as a young international recording
artist and producer as the group toured the world performing and selling
albums. The album
Who Let the Dogs Out sold more than 7 million records worldwide, more than 3 million in the USA, and earned Carey and the Baha Men the Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording in 2000, 2 Billboard Awards for World Music Album of the Year 2000 and World Music Song of the Year 2000, and 2 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards for
favourite band. When not travelling across the world performing, Carey
can be found at several recording studios in Nassau, Bahamas where he
does most of his production with local and international artists.

Samita Ferguson
Samita
Ferguson is the second child of the Late Bishop Samuel.J Alleyne and
Helen Alleyne. She graduated from The Government High School in 1987 and
served as a school’s prefect and Student Council President.
She graduated
from Lee University in Cleveland Tenn... where she obtained a Bachelors
of Arts Degree in Communication and minor in Business. At Lee, she
served on the Presidents Student Advisory Board, Served as an Student
Council Officer for four consecutive years also studied for a semester
in Cambridge England.
Upon returning
home, she was employed with the Royal Bank. At Royal, she served
received quarterly rewards for service, served on Service Excellence
Committees, participated in the Banks then club 8157 Toastmasters Club,
which allowed her to enter a Toastmaster Table Topic Competition,. She
won overall for the Bahamas and placed first in the Florida’s District
competition. In her final tenure she served as Assistant Manager of
Customer Service at the Mackey Street Branch.
Presently Mrs.
Ferguson, CEO of her household,, partner in a retail business She is a
actively involved in her children education as she partners with the
school in their endeavors. She is mentor to young women, she serves her
local church in the Fine Arts Capacity and she is the National Fine Arts
Director for the Church of God of Prophecy, She is also a Council
Member for the National Youth Ministries of the Church of God of
Prophecy. Mrs. Ferguson Recent graduate of the Ministry of Youth, Youth
Leaders Certification Course. She served as an active committee member
for the Caribbean Conference Dance Network for 10 years and serves as a
Marlin Award Board Member. . She loves coaching and encouraging people.
Her passion is to see people empowered and walking in their destiny. She
has written numerous short sketches. She is a minister of the dance,
loves writing plays and reading, also she simply enjoying nature…She is a mother of 2 daughters, Karina Laura and Karrah Louise. She is the wife
of Kevin Ferguson,
