CeCe Winans to Perform at Myles Munroe Funeral

Grammy award winning, CeCe Winans to perform at the funeral for Dr. Myles and Ruth Munroe in The Bahamas on Thursday, December 4th, 2014.

Multi Grammy award winner, CeCe Winans will be performing at the state recognized funeral for Dr. Myles Munroe and his wife, Pastor Ruth Munroe in The Bahamas on Thursday, December 4th.

On November 10th the Winan brothers, BeBe, Carvin and Marvin, sang “I Really Miss You” in honour of Dr. Myles Munroe and family on Kathie Lee and Hoda.

Priscilla "CeCe" Marie Winans Love is an American gospel singer who has won numerous awards, including ten Grammy Awards and seven Stellar Awards. She has sold 12 million records world wide.

Spokesperson for The Bahamas Faith Ministries founded by Munroe, Kevin Harris confirmed the  performance with TheBahamasWeekly.com. The funeral will be held at the Bahamas Faith Ministries Diplomat Center on Carmichael Road.

The bodies of Dr. Myles Munroe and Pastor Ruth Ann Munroe will lie in repose at Bahamas Faith Ministries Diplomat Center on Wednesday December 3rd from 10: Noon to 5pm. A private ceremony will be held from 10am to 12: Noon with members of the Family and Senior Government Officials. Members of the public are invited to pay their respects beginning at 12: Noon to 5pm and are welcomed to sign the book of condolence. There will be no public viewing.

A National Memorial is also scheduled to be held in honour of Dr. Myles Egbert Munroe O.B.E and his wife Pastor Ruthann Munroe on Wednesday December 3rd 2014 at The Thomas A. Robinson Stadium Oaks Field Sporting Complex in Nassau, Bahamas. The event will start at 6pm with doors open for seating at 5pm. The event is open to the General Public and there is no admission or invitations needed to attend. There will however be reserved seating for the Family, Senior Government Officials, Bahamas Faith Ministries Members as well as Local and International Dignitaries.

The National Memorial is expected to attract a wide cross of Bahamians including visitors to the country and will feature a number of tributes and special music performances.
