Nassau, Bahamas - After 7 years, Lil Wayne finally delivered to Bahamian fans in a concert dubbed, "Sorry 4 the Wait" on July 11th in the nation's capital. It was a long time coming since the failed concert attempt in 2008.

Despite the anticipation, concert goers still had to wait 5 hours until Lil Wayne finally took the stage, in an event that was said to appear unorganized, and lack in transitions. It was reported that the DJ played from 9pm until 2:30 am.

When the American rapper came on he only performed a 15 minute set of five songs. With the artist having a musical career spanning 20 years fans were upset when he closed on such a short delivery.

Wayne's performance was followed by Grammy award-winning Jamaican reggae artist, Beenie Man who was obviously upset by his late start, but he continued to put out a 45 minute set to an appreciative crowd and gave his fans a great show.

Prior to his performance in The Bahamas Lil Wayne performed in Haiti
and is scheduled to perform in a benefit concert for the 10th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina in August called Lil Weezyana Fest.
