World Labyrinth Day

May 2nd, 2009

A global celebration of the labyrinth

The first Saturday in May

 “Walk as One at 1”

You are invited to walk a labyrinth at 1 PM in your time zone to effect a rolling wave of labyrinth walking as the earth turns.  Come to the Grand Bahama Labyrinth to "Walk as One at 1".

World Labyrinth Day is a day that brings people from all over the planet together in celebration of the labyrinth as a symbol, a passion, a practice and a tool for healing and peace.

All Labyrinths on the Planet will host special Walks at 1.00p.m. in each time zone to honour, celebrate and heal the Earth and all Creation.  This is a glorious occasion for us to join a Global Walk for Healing and Peace as we all  Walk as One at One
There will be no organised ceremony. Quiet music will be played between 12.30 and 2.p.m.  Everyone is invited to simply walk the path with a gentle loving heart, and support Mother Earth and all Creatures thereon.

Spend as little or as much time as you wish.  If the Path is full at 1.00p.m. simply walk in a clockwise direction around the outside of the Labyrinth to support the energy.

The Chapel will be open for prayers and the benches around the Labyrinth will provide seating for meditation.  If you wish to meditate on your cushions or blankets, please put them on the grass, not on the Labyrinth during this special Walk.

A small donation to the Labyrinth will be appreciated.

(Garden of the Groves entry for Non-Members only $5.00)

Following this World Labyrinth Day Walk, we invite you to visit the Garden Cafe for refreshments with easy-listening live background music from 2.00p.m.until 5.00p.m.

A MESSAGE FROM THE GB LABYRINTH FOUNDER:

A single individual can initiate worldwide improvement by emitting conscious frequencies of love, beauty, goodness, and wisdom.

We each possess the ability to channel love energy, to heal, to be a conduit for white light, and to positively influence our fellow humans from afar. Yet one person can only do so much. Alone, the light we emit is a wonderful healing tool, but when combined with others this becomes a powerful force which can set the stage for positive global transformation. Combined human intent is worth more

What matters is not technique or what religion or beliefs you hold but intent.

I believe very many of us have the intent and would gladly participate in such a noble project.

Our collective consciousness can help bring about an earth where love triumphs over violence, air and water are nourishing in their purity, and people take pleasure in simply being alive.

I invite everyone to join us in Peace on the Labyrinth at the Garden of the Groves

Blessings!
