Tourism Reps Present Beach Bags Loaded with Goodies from The Bahamas

PLANTATION, Florida - Representatives from the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism & Aviation’s (BMOTA) sales and marketing team took time out earlier this week to present gift beach bags loaded with Bahamas branded items to the teachers of Somerset Academy Miramar Charter School, in Miramar, Florida.

The Bahamas, a country of 700 distinctive islands, spans over 100,000 square miles of crystal-clear turquoise waters, and its spectacular, award winning pink and white, powder-soft sand beaches are world renowned.

“Teachers have worked tirelessly and selflessly to help our children, especially during this pandemic.  As a gesture of gratitude, especially during this Teachers Appreciation Week, we at the BMOTA felt it was only fitting to show our appreciation to teachers for their dedicated service.  We not only wanted to invite them to The Bahamas to experience ‘the perfect place,’ but also provide them with tangible, memorable and practical gifts they could use, while they, their family and friends are vacationing with us,” said Phylia Shivers, Executive, BMOTA.
