NASSAU, Bahamas - The Islands Of The Bahamas are very excited to be
nominated in 9 different categories in the 22nd World Travel Awards in
the following categories: ‘Caribbean’s Leading Beach Destination,’
‘Caribbean’s Leading Cruise Destination,’ ‘Caribbean’s Leading Cruise
Port,’ ‘Caribbean’s Leading Destination,’ ‘Caribbean’s Leading Dive
Destination,’ ‘Caribbean’s Leading Honeymoon Destination,’ ‘Caribbean’s
Leading Tourist Board,’ and ‘Caribbean’s Most Romantic Destination.’
The
World Travel Awards were founded in 1993 to recognize, acknowledge and
reward excellence in travel, tourism and hospitality industry worldwide,
and 22 years later it is now recognized globally as the hallmark of
quality, with winners setting the benchmark to which all other aspire.
The winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony Gala on October
17th, 2015 in Turks & Caicos.
Being nominated in 9 separate categories is an incredible honor,
and recognition for The Islands Of The Bahamas, and everything they
have to offer visitors and hard work they have done to welcome and
attract new visitors. Long known for breadth of wonders the Islands have
