Freeport, The Bahamas - In celebration of the 10th Anniversary of Starjet Radio (97.3 FM), over 100 radio listeners and avid supporters traveled to Grand Bahama Island from frigid Winnipeg, Canada for a week of fun-filled excitement, and endless authentic cultural experiences. The group arrived on island on February 28th on board Sunwing Airlines, Flight 704, direct service though an exclusive package organized by Marlin Travel.

Starjet radio station has been broadcasting live each morning from the host property, Memories Grand Bahama Beach Resort and Casino, keeping their listeners up to date with the latest in Bahamian entertainment, tours and activities.

The climax of the trip included an appearance by Bahamian recording artist , KB who sang one of his hits, "Bush Mechanic." The guests surprised KB in singing along during the chorus, as the lyrics had been printed without the singer's knowledge.
