Freeport, Bahamas - Six lucky
children from Grand Bahama, selected by Urban Renewal, travel to Miami February
29 for an NBA game between Miami Heat and the Chicago Bulls. As it is ‘Bahamas Night’ at the game, the
island of Grand Bahama will be featured.
The joint effort between Urban Renewal and
the Ministry of Tourism enables the children and two Urban Renewal Officers to
get an experience of a lifetime. Michelle
Reckley said she is grateful for the opportunity for the youngsters and said
the three boys and three girls were carefully chosen due to their interest in
basketball at their school.
