Judge Judy enjoys 70th birthday in The Bahamas

Celebrity Judge Judith Sheindlin celebrated her 70th birthday cruising the seas of The Exumas.  

Television viewers across the United States heard Judge Judy’s endorsement of the Exuma vacation experience. She was interviewed by Katie Couric on her ABC talk show, Katie. In her interview, which was seen by an estimated audience of more than 5 million, Judge Judy spoke about visiting the Exumas with her family.  

“We partied in The Bahamas and had a great time,” she said.  

Judge Judy told the television audience that her cruising experience included feeding Exuma’s famous swimming pigs.  

“That is something that is very unique,” she said. “Most people haven’t done it. You pull up to an island on this little dinghy and the pigs hear the boat and they are so initiated to the fact that once the boat comes, they get fed. So they come out through the greenery and get into the water and open up their mouths.”  

Earlier this year, TV Guide reported that Judge Judy is the highest paid television star in the United States due to her high-energy, small claims court show. However, Judge Judy concentrated on the energy of the Exuma’s during her interview.  

“Everything new is an adventure,” she said of the swimming pigs experience. “So this was an adventure. It was fun.”  

The Judge Judy show is in its 17th season and is television’s number one daytime show.
