FREEPORT, Grand Bahama -- A new charter made its inaugural flight from Italy to Freeport, Grand Bahama, on Thursday, June 9, 2016.
The Boeing 767-300ER Alpitour flight will provide direct service to the island from Milan until September 1, 2016.
Ministry of Tourism officials and industry partners greeted the 80 passengers on the inaugural trip.
Director of Ministry of Tourism, Freeport, Grand Bahama, Betty Bethel was happy to welcome the visitors, rolling out the red carpet for them.
