New Horizon Worship Center 3rd Anniversary Religious Conference

Freeport, Grand Bahama - Religious Tourism is making a rebound on Grand Bahama, with the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism & Aviation partnering with New Horizon Worship Center for their third anniversary conference, scheduled for July 14-16, 2021, at New Horizon Worship Center at 7 p.m. nightly under the theme, “This Is That.”

Steven Johnson, Director at the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, noted, “The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism is optimistic about Religious Tourism in Grand Bahama, and we believe that this will be another growth sector for the Island. We are happy to have renowned evangelist, Mel Tari, visit Grand Bahama for the first time, and we look forward to future religious conferences.”

This year’s guest speaker, Mel Tari, is a well-known Indonesian evangelist who now resides in California and is the author of several books, including the bestseller, “Like A Mighty Wind,” which has been translated into dozens of languages. Mr. Tari stated, “I’ve known about The Bahamas for many years, and the late Dr. Myles Munroe has been a great friend for 30 plus years. I think the Lord created all the Islands in The Bahamas for a reason, and I believe that Grand Bahama and all the others will play a major role in what the Holy Spirit is doing in the last days.”

Reverend Karol Roach of New Horizon Worship Center concluded, “We’re so glad to partner with the Ministry of Tourism and their Religious Tourism Department as we launch our   conference, for the third year.”

The religious conference is free of charge and open to all.
