Star Model Management
will host the first official selection for a Bahamas representative to
Manhunt International 2012 which will be held in Bangkok, Thailand.
"The Ultimate Girls
Night Out!" Manhunt Bahamas will be the door opening for the young
Bahamian who wants to pursue a career in the professional world of
modeling.
Trumaine Andre’ Kelvin Taylor was born in the Bahamas' second city, Freeport, Grand Bahama on the 29th October, 1983 where at the age of three (3) years old he was moved to Nassau. Trumaine attended the Annie’s Kindergarten Preschool, Sandilands Primary School and the former L.W. Young Secondary School. Trumaine tertiary education started at the College of the Bahamas where he studied Accounting and aspired to be a Certified Public Accountant.
While at C.O.B. Trumaine noticed that his life was taking a slight change as his career plans seemed to differ. On the 29th June, 2006 he was accepted and entered the doors of the Royal Bahamas Police Force Training College where he graduated with the top achievement which is the Baton Honor. Education being put on hold for two years, Trumaine being passionate and a non-quitter resume his education where he received an Associate’s Degree in Accounting at Galilee College. He is now deployed and working as an accountant for Royal Bahamas Police Force where he plans to further his education.
When Trumaine is not working, he is either exercising or keeping in shape. He loves almost all sports where on most Sunday’s you can find him playing volleyball or basketball. He loves traveling and meeting new people from all walks of life. He also loves life, family and his faith.
Trumaine being an officer of the law and servant of the Bahamian people knows how to represent his country with loyalty and integrity. He also knows how to take direction and command attention. Furthermore, he knows how to be discipline, not easily broken under pressure and a fighter until he wins.

His best quality is listening and observing others. He says “when you listened you hear more and learn more”. Trumaine is easy to work with as he is committed to ensuring that the task or the objectives are met, punctuality is a key factor and feels that when you’re tardy you sometimes miss out on opportunities. He does not believe in quitting and he lives by this motto, “You’re not a failure when you fail but a failure when you quit”.
Turmaine is passionate about life, family, friendship and his faith. He firmly believe that life does not turn out the way we want it to but, once you have some ‘stick-ability’ and determination you can achieve anything. His interest in modeling came from all the compliments and attention he would get when he would travel or go shopping; always being compared to Tyson Beckford, Tyrese Gibson and Jamie Foxx is encouraging as well.
Trumaine said he is always told that he should model and said he did some volunteer modeling in Chicago, LA and Nassau. His best quality being listening; he has decided to listen and venture into modeling in hopes of establishing another professional career.
The
Ultimate Girls Night Out promises to be an experience they will not
soon forget. The show will give attendees the opportunity to enjoy and
handsomeness of the Bahamian male; it will be the ladies time to admire
the male form a privilege so often only afforded to men in the
country. The models selected to be in the Bahamas selection will truly
make The Ultimate Girls Night Out the more memorable.
The competition will
be judged on the contestants overall model potential and ability to
transfer that look into mainstream world of international modeling.
Making one models dream a reality.
The categories:
Physical Fitness (Swimwear), Casual wear, Formal wear and photogenic
ability. This task will be in the capable hands of several young ladies
who have stood on the opposite side of the panel and held titles of
their own.
As this will be the first competition of this type in Freeport, we have
taken in to account the economic situation in the country so
contestants will only be required a minimal wardrobe inclusive of a
formal suit, swimwear and jeans. If you are interested in joining the
