The Bahamas Weekly News Team takes you on an enlightening video tour inside the new Ross University interim campus at The Seahorse Shopping Plaza on Grand Bahama Island.  In this video you will see and hear from the president of Ross University, administrators, students and some of the Grand Bahama businesspersons that are benefiting as a result of the new Ross University campus being on Grand Bahama Island.

You will also see inside the state of the art Patient Simulation Center that enables students to work with lifelike computer controlled manikins that emulate a wide variety of life threatening human medical conditions.

You will also hear from your Bahamas Weekly News Team who also did a presentation at the Ross University students orientation session that served as a cyber welcome to Grand Bahama Island.

We wrap up this video production at the Ross University welcome beach party which took place at Joe's Bar and Grill where they received a hearty welcome from Betty Bethel, General Manager, Business Development, Ministry of Tourism Grand Bahama while dancing and enjoying indigenous eats and drinks.

The future looks bright for Grand Bahama as well as for the Ross University medical students who attended their first day of school on Monday, January 12th at the interim campus at Seahorse Plaza in Freeport.

The focus for day one was orientation and the beginning of classes, as all the students gathered in their conference area equipped with overhead screens, as the faculty and administrative team were introduced as well as policies and procedures explained.
