The Grand Bahama Chamber of Commerce as with any other Chamber of Commerce is non-profit action agency designed to meet the needs of the community. The "Chamber" is a voluntary organization of individuals and businesses who band together to advance the commercial, financial industrial and civic interests of a community.

The GBCC’s Mission is – “To provide the network, to sustain, promote and support business development in an effort to encourage growth and expansion in the Grand Bahama economy and within a healthy and clean community environment.”

We encourage all businesses on Grand Bahama Island to unite so that we have one clear voice that speaks to the issues of the day.

Why should you become a Member of The Grand Bahama Chamber of Commerce?

BECAUSE it is the best way of joining hands with other businessmen or businesswomen and attacking the problems in your area;

BECAUSE whether we like it or not, we owe something to our community besides taxes and donations. A little of ourselves;

BECAUSE you will exchange ideas and methods with other business leaders. Talents you could not afford to pay for alone;

BECAUSE you will have access to valuable information concerning private industry;

BECAUSE you will receive personal satisfaction in achieving results through investments of time and effort;

BECAUSE the Chamber works to help the community to progress and the economy to grow!

What can the Chamber of Commerce do for me?

In whatever line of business you are presently involved, your membership in the Chamber of Commerce puts you in contact with others who have your common interest,, and with whom you may work to deal with any problems which may arise.
